Xspect New CMMs
The Wenzel LH series of Xtreme Gantry CMMs are developed to allow the measurement of large manufactured parts. The machines are equipped with air bearing guideways in all axes providing frictionless and wear-free operation.
The X rail, Y beam and Z ram are all manufactured from dark granite to achieve identical thermal behavior of all axes. Optional Thermal Compensation allows CMM accuracy to be maintained in non perfect shop thermal conditions.
The Z axis air counterbalance is capable of holding the Z ram in any position regardless of probe weight. The granite table is finely lapped according to DIN 876/0. The machine is designed as a single self stabilizing, homogeneous structure with integrated active pneumatic vibration dampers eliminating the need for a foundation.
The optional MFE Mobile Control Panel has a full membrane keyboard, mouse and integrated 12" LCD Color Screen to allow the CMM User to take the measuring software to the job eliminating inefficient CMM operation with a static PC and Monitor.
All machines are available as Standard or Enhanced Accuracy.
