OpenDMIS Powered by Performance

OpenDMIS is both On-Line and Off-line CMM software allowing inspection programs to be written and simulated at either the CMM or at an off-line station. The On-Line application can be taken off-line at the click of a mouse to allow program verification and simulation without risking a CMM crash due to programming errors. CAD based graphical programming allows inspection programs to be created in a virtual world.

CMM and probe kinematics simulation, verification and optimization allow inspection programs to be created in advance of physical part availability. Probe path simulation with graphical crash prediction and automatic collision avoidance override make for a fast program debug.

A graphical 3D representation of the CMM and Renishaw Probing System provides real world simulation and programming tools. Full integration with the optional Microsoft USB Joystick enables simulated CMM movements to be created in a true virtual reality environment.
