Customers can Xspect Solutions to CMM Requirements

Xspect Solutions, Inc launches on January 2nd, 2003 as a:

"Nationwide Total CMM Metrology Outsourcing Partner."

The Xspect Solutions mission is to be "The singular coordinate metrology source to manufacturing organizations whatever their service, labor or equipment requirements providing Total Metrology Solutions."

Xspect Solutions offers itself as a nationwide metrology partner with its locally based Metrology Associates trained with unparallel product and application knowledge offering products and services with franchise style quality and consistency.

Xspect also announces that it has formed a business partnership with Wenzel GmbH as exclusive distributor for Wenzel CMMs in North America. Wenzel is the 4th largest manufacturer of CMMs in the world offering both touch and scanning probe CMM solutions. Wenzel has been the CMM of choice for BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi and Volkswagen of Germany; all renowned manufacturers and the benchmark for automotive technology and quality; Wenzel have been instrumental in providing its CMM technology as an integral part of their manufacturing processes.

Xspect Solutions President is Keith Mills, the former President of DEA and International Metrology Systems. Mills has long believed that the continued fragmentation of the CMM industry creates an opportunity for change management in both CMM Distribution and CMM Support Activities. In addition he states, "The recent consolidation of CMM OEMs & CMM Software Companies by financially driven Holding Companies increases customer uncertainties." Xspect Solutions represents his vision to implement an independent national brand where the focus is on the customer not the supplier. In today's economic climate, and the continued downsizing by the CMM industry, we expect to attract significant Xsperienced metrology professional, to the Xspect mission.
