Technology: A Wenzel CMM utilizes the optimum CMM materials, air bearings and drive systems. All Wenzel CMMs come equipped with the revolutionary HT400 wireless Teach Pendant utilizing Bluetooth Technology; a CMM industry first from Wenzel.

Quality: Wenzel manufactures its CMMs at its single location in Wiesthal, Germany in its newly expanded dedicated CMM manufacturing facility. The LH series of Xtreme Bridge CMMs are designed to accommodate the measurement of small to medium size manufactured parts. Machines are equipped with air bearing guideway systems in all axes to providing frictionless and wear-free operation.

The X bridge and Z ram are manufactured of dark granite to achieve identical thermal behavior of all axes. Optional Thermal Compensation allows CMM accuracy to be maintained in less than perfect temperature conditions.

The Z axis pneumatic counterbalance is capable of holding the Z ram in any position regardless of probe weight. The CMM table is finely lapped according to DIN 876/0. The X and Y axes are protected by bellows.
