Check out for yourself Wenzel, the 4th largest CMM manufacturer in the world, and the other German CMM manufacturer, who's CMMs are actually ALL manufactured in Germany! Now the Z in CMMs means Wenzel CMMs. Xtreme
Performance: Wenzel has been manufacturing CMMs since 1980. Its success, as the fastest growing European CMM manufacturer over past years, has been based upon delivering highly competitive 'best in class' performance products and has gained its market position globally against formidable competition from Zeiss, DEA/Brown & Sharpe and Mitutoyo products . Wenzel has attained the status of being the worlds 4th largest CMM manufacturer and Renishaw's largest European CMM Probe customer. Accuracy: A Wenzel CMM is built mechanically accurate, unlike competitor's machines that are not accurate until modified by software error correction techniques, and are manufactured to the highest precision tolerances in the industry. Wenzel engineers and manufactures using the premise that an accurate mechanical structure means a more precise longer life measuring device. It will be just as accurate for years to come. Read about Basics of ISO 10360-2.
Quality: Wenzel manufactures its CMMs at its single location in Wiesthal, Germany in its newly expanded dedicated CMM manufacturing facility. A true manufacturer and not just an assembly operation Wenzel is unique among CMM producers in that it processes its own granite and all other mechanical parts and therefore has total control of its product quality. The Wenzel manufacturing operations have operated under ISO9001 since 1995. Value for Money: In today's highly competitive CMM market Wenzel has grown market share in each of the past 5 years and is now Renishaw's largest European customer for CMM probes. Wenzel growth is directly attributable to the best price/performance ratio CMMs in the industry combined with German quality and reliability. The LH series of Xtreme Bridge CMMs are designed to accommodate the measurement of small to medium size manufactured parts. Machines are equipped with air bearing guideway systems in all axes to providing frictionless and wear-free operation. The X bridge and Z ram are manufactured of dark granite to achieve identical thermal behavior of all axes. Optional Thermal Compensation allows CMM accuracy to be maintained in less than perfect temperature conditions. The Z axis pneumatic counterbalance is capable of holding the Z ram in any position regardless of probe weight. The CMM table is finely lapped according to DIN 876/0. The X and Y axes are protected by bellows. Voice: 248.295.4300 Headquarters: Click driving directions for interactive mapping and directions. |
